New Pi-Star option to rotate the orientation of an OLED display

Post by KE0FHS » Thu Nov 08, 2018 5:54 pm

Thanks to work done by Jonathan, G4KLX, to MMDVMHost, Andy Taylor was able to add an option to Pi-Star in dashboard version 20181107 that enables rotating the orientation of an OLED display. The option is in the Expert Editor > MMDVMHost > Rotate (change 0 to 1). If you don't find the option after updating to 20181107, click Apply Changes in the Configuration page to activate it.

You're welcome. :)

And for full credit, I think someone on here posted the hex values needed to be pushed by the i2cbus. Without that, I wouldn't have been able to add it to the source. So thanks to them, really.
