RELEASE Pi-Star V4.1.0 RC4

Post by MW0MWZ » Tue Aug 27, 2019 11:11 am

Pi-Star v4.1.0 RC4 released (currently as an upgrade only - image coming soon).

This update addresses issues with a number of boards, one or both of the GPIO pins 20 and 21 come up at boot in a different state on Pi 4 hardware than they did on Pi 3B+ or lower boards... I am assuming at the moment that this is due to the new SoC in use on the Pi 4.

I added a short script that resets the modem on boot up and leaves the GPIO pins in the correct state, this *should* address the apparent compatibility issues between Pi 4 boards and some modem hats.

If you have a hat that comes up in the reset state, specifically on the Pi 4, work with me and we'll test it out.
Andy
