I am using ZeroTier to obtain remote dashboard access to our UHF DMR repeater. From my cellphone I accidentally shut down Pi-Star, rather than rebooting it. I admit to being a little clumsy, or perhaps thumbsy on that little screen. Access to the repeater site is a difficult, so I don't want to make that error again.
I would like to see power shutdown a step that requires confirmation, reducing the chance of an accidental shutdown.
I have also noticed that after doing an intended power shutdown, then cycling the power, if you return to the dashboard the address is still that for power shutdown. Simply refreshing the screen will do another power shutdown. So in this case you must manually clear the address line to avoid this.
Accidental Power Shutdown too easy with remote access
Re: Accidental Power Shutdown too easy with remote access
Indeed...
As a recent newbie to Pi-Star, I've done a few accidental shutdowns instead of restarts too.
For both power off and reboot, an "Are you sure you want to (insert action here)?" prompt would be good, if just as a reminder for the fat-fingered amongst us!

Are you sure, are you really sure, are you really, really, really *sure*...
OK if you are sure, click your heals three times, say "there's no place like home" and wipe your nose on the screen.
All joking aside I'll add some kind of check..
