ZumSpot with AllStar

Does anyone know if the ZumSpot will work with AllStar? And if so, does anyone know of a writeup/video on it?
Pistar was written around MMDVM at its heart. MMDVM was created for use with digital voice modes with no support for using analogue based systems.
There are a ga-zillion all-star images available on the net, too my knowledge non of them use MMDVM type hardware.
