Post by Ve1jxt » Mon Mar 18, 2019 3:53 pm

on the weekend I tried to USB my pi star board/jumbo spot to my Samsung phone . power was there USB cable was good and data on , but nothing heard. Seem like I wasn't getting out any ideas. My radio is a MD380 it worked last year into the iPhone . Is there a setting I need to do ?

thanks

Not familiar with Samsung, but for my Pixel 3 Android phone, I need to enable: Settings > Network & internet > Hotspot & tethering > USB tethering. Also, I haven't tested this specifically for USB testing, but I need to disable my VPN to get my phone working as a WiFi hotspot.
