Have you tested it with 3.19? That's a fairly recent firmware version.

It is 3.19 in that now, and it sound like it works, but if there is a newer one I will use that, it can be better :)

I am using this, is that correct: DV-Mega Raspberry Pi Hat (GPIO) - Dual Band

and I can't find it in the link. Are You using another one ?

Can you explain what you mean by "the link"?

That link. But I found it and follow it until 3.26. Then it says File not found.

You have to replace:
DVMEGA_RH_V###_RPI.zip
with the actual version you're trying to get, in this case:
DVMEGA_RH_V326_RPI.zip

My apologies: I had forgotten that there is an issue with updating the firmware when you are running Pi-Star 4.0.0-RC3, and I guess Andy hasn't fixed it yet. Dan, K0TI has a fix, but I don't know what that is.
See: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=1360

So here's the thing: DVMEGA 3.19 is a good version. You really don't need to upgrade. But if you want to upgrade, you'll need to burn a new image of Pi-Star 3.4.17, and then perform the firmware upgrade. After that, you can upgrade to Pi-Star 4.0.0-RC3, if you want.

Again, apologies that I forgot about that.

FYI, earlier this afternoon, when I was trying to answer your question, I ran a DVMEGA firmware upgrade on an RPi 3A+ running Pi-Star 4.0.0-RC3, and experienced the same issue again, the same error messages you saw. Afterwards, I was having some issues with Pi-Star, and ended up wondering whether the failed firmware upgrade might have corrupted my DVMEGA firmware.

So I went ahead and swapped the DVMEGA onto an RPi Zero W, flashed a fresh install of Pi-Star 3.4.17, configured it, and then ran the DVMEGA firmware from there successfully. Then I popped the DVMEGA back onto the RPi 3A+ it had been on before, with the same Pi-Star 4.0.0-RC3 image, and everything is now just fine.

FIgured it might be worth it to report that.

Hi
Thanks for all your help, it really helped me further.
Now I throw 3.4.7 on and then RC3 must wait for later.
It's been too long since I've messed with it, and then you forget quickly :)
Now I try all over again.
Thank You Toshen
