Looking like a write permission, before attempting to do anything did you change the file system to read/write by using rpi-rw

Pistar, once fully booted defaults to read only file system!

Nextion driver is not my code, the MMDVMHost binaries are only slightly modified to bundle screen support. You would have been better enabling debug than setting the level to 1, but either should work.

The Debug/Trace functions are not changed in my release. I am about to push the Bins for V4 up to the current releases, so anything that may be behind is going to catch up shortly.
