Hi,
I have seen this in the forum without a resolution, I have three of these that are showing the same thing when I run updates.
What is the fix ?
When a sudo apt update / sudo apt dist-upgrade combo is launched at the command prompt several distro sources referred to do not exist:
Err http://httpredir.debian.org jessie-backports/main armhf Packages
404 Not Found
Err http://httpredir.debian.org jessie-backports/contrib armhf Packages

Err http://httpredir.debian.org jessie-backports/non-free armhf Packages

jessie-backports
Re: jessie-backports
There is no fix, Jessie is slowly going out of use, I'm putting my time into prepping V4.1 currently, the solution will be to move to that release.
Re: jessie-backports
It appears that Backport was just a testing area and was removed.
the thing to do is
rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/jessie-backports.list
apt-get update
all is well.

Re: jessie-backports
"backports" are software / updates released in a later version, and back-ported to (jessie in this case) - specifically I used the USBModeswitch from back ports at least.
Re: jessie-backports
Do you need any help working through upgrade to Debian 10 Buster or similar?
