Running update on 4.1.0 RC1 error

Post by W2SJW »

Guys,

Anyone else getting a GPG error when trying to run

Code: Select all

sudo pistar-update
that the Buster backports are unsigned?

It wasn't doing that on Thursday or Friday... :?:

Debian released the formal Buster yesterday. That probably is propagating out to changes in the repositories -- Raspbian was distributing a "testing" release, and will likely have a full "stable" release coming out soon.

Will this mean we will have to burn a new image to an SD card or will doing a sudo pistar-update work .

One would hope that it will be as simple as "pistar-update" pushing a replacement /etc/apt/sources.list ... hopefully the same for 4.0rc4 when 4.1 is released.

Its going to be easier than that - RC2 is about to be available as an update, that will fix these :)
No need for new SD Cards for this one.

RC2 is available, update/upgrade and those issues are a memory :)
