2 pi-stars dedicated?

Post by kz45k »

Hi,
I have 2 dmr handhelds, and am curious if 2 pi-stars(pi-zero w hat) can be configured to communicate with each over the internet/network without any additional server. I would like to use 1 handheld at my home and the other at my parent's cabin for personal use.

If possible what settings in the pi-stars should I be concerned with to set them up to one another?

Thanks

MMDVMHost expects to talk to a DMR Master, so you need something that looks like it, so in short no, but you could run an instance of HBLink somewhere and link them both to that.
