Pi-star 4.1 MMDVMCAL is broken.

Post by KD8DVR »

When running mmdvmcal, when it starts, I see the following lines:

MMDVMHOST: No process found
MMDVMHost_NoOLED: No process found
MMDVMHost_Adafruit: No process found.

Then when activating the transmitter, I get the following error:

Received a NAK to the CAL_DATA command from the modem: 2

Happening to all 4 of my hotspots, so I'd say it's an issue.

I'm unable to replicate your issue! I tried on three hotspots (jumbo, zum & duplex) and mmdvmcal is working. What make or mmdvm hat are you using?

I've changed the frequency to my transmit freq. I've also left it at the default. Neither work.

Are you sing sudo pistar-mmdvmcal as the command to start the program?

Can you tell us more about what modem you have, that may shed some light on it...

Hi Andy,

Well, all 4 are China spots. 3 simplex ones and one duplex.

Well the error occurs with *all* my hotspots.(I have 4 now in service) mmdvmcal worked fine on my first two *before* the update to 4.1. (the other 2 were either purchased after 4.1 or I have never needed to use mmdvmcal) I only have one duplex board, the rest are the simplex jumbospots.
