Echo test with IC-7100

I have my IC-7100 set up with my hotspot loaded through the repeater file. How do I get it to do an echo test? I set UR field to KM6DOV E and keyed up. The dashboard didn't show any RF activity, but it did send me a confirmation back to the radio.
Running on an MMDVM hotspot: Pi-Star:3.4.17 / Dashboard: 20190709

Set the Ur field to. 7 spaces E. E resides in the eighth character position.

Remove the callsign from what you have there.
