Help Selecting Correct Board For Build And Firmware

Hello, I ordered the following board of bangood and need help making sure I build and compile and also get the right firmware for the following.

You really need to ask the seller that question. Hopefully they have some connection to the manufacturer and can tell you. That's a challenge with these clone boards; you never know the depth of support that is available. The listing itself is confusing; it says both:
The firmware is pre-loaded and is easily upgraded via software.
and
The firmware is pre-loaded.Please do not upgrade the firmware by yourself.

Once JP1 is soldered should I keep it soldered? Does it matter if I leave like that?

I have that board, but not a clone; rather the original version by Florian, DF2ET, Mathis, DB9MAT, and Andreas, DO7EN from Germany. I've never soldered any jumpers or manually set anything, and have never had any issue with using the Pi-Star script to update the firmware.
I have had unrelated issues with that board losing incoming audio with my AnyTone 878, but I've heard that may have been fixed with the latest AnyTone firmware (however, I'm waiting to install that firmware version myself until I trust that it a bit more ... there were some initial reports of trouble with it).

I have that board. Didn't need to solder anything. Jp1 was there and closed. There were some anytone issues with it receiving, but those were corrected via some settings in pi star. The receive issues were corrected via anytone firmware.
I likely got a clone board. It has performed great for me, once configured properly.
