Use Pistar for Fox Hunting?

Post by WG5EEK »

Is there a way to set the Pi-Star up to transmit constantly on it's own so I could hide it for a local club fox hunting event? It's small, requires little power, and can be hidden in lots of places. Just curious if this is a possibility. Thanks!

I would think something like this would work better as it's purpose built. http://byonics.com/mf

That looks very interesting as well!

I was mainly looking at the Pi-Star to add difficulty in not only finding it, but identifying the digital mode being used.
