4.1.0 RC6 20191105 dashboard now displaying M1ABC

Post by KN2TOD »

As of the 20191105 dashboard for 4.1.0 RC6, the browser tab and dashboard banner are now displaying M1ABC rather than the callsign from the configuration as it previously did.

Timezone also reverted back to GMT (UK) time. All this in spite of config settings.

You had modified the dashboard in some way and when I patched it in the last few days, my updates replaced yours.
Just press "apply" on the config page and it will put your callsign back - you can re-set the timezone while you are there too :)

That fixed it! And, yes, I had been running an update or two the last couple of days (via the dashboard update selection).

But this exposes another problem: my 9-digit DMR id (7+2 postfix) has reverted back to its 7 digit form (again). It appears the 9-digit form can not be set via the regular config page but instead can only be set via the MMDVMHost expert page. Is this by design?

Under your callsign, it should be 7 digits, and then set the extension on the actual mode (drop down further down the config).

I do that and my DMR id (for the hotspot) shows the 7 digit form on the admin dashboard. OK, but then, for each of my hotspots, how do I know which 9-digit id it's operating under by just glancing at the dashboards? Do I need to drill down to the configs each time to verify the extended id's haven't (been) changed?
