Bitrate - Audio Quality

I can hear everyone fine, The audio quality is actually better than I expected. But some reports from receivers is that I sound 'tinny'. Suggestions point to a bitrate setting. Can someone suggest a change (where in the config) so I can text the diff?

The bit rate will have little to no effect on your audio. If you have poor BER bit error rate below a workable threshold. you'll have broken audio, not poor audio.

Look in the menu settings of the radio. Check to see if it has any controls over modulation, Mic gain etc.
