PI-settings with STM32_DV_Pihat

I have issue with D-Star Settings on the PI-star. I do not know what else to do. My set up is MTR2000 repeater using STM32_DV_Pihat on Raspberry Pi 3B. The issue was if the Callsign on the Pi-Star did not match the Icom ID51 Plus radio, the repeater will still response but the STM32 PTT and Dstar LED will not come on. BUT if the Callsign on the Pi-star and radio match, then it will be okay.
1. The Mode on the Pi-star is selected "Public"
2. Expert -Dstar Setting is set to 0 for "SelfOnly"

What else am I missing . The DMR works fine, even if the callsign did not match the Pi-Star and radio. Please advice.

Change the node type setting on the main config from private to public.
