Hi Dennis,

Thanks for your reply.

I already checked that posts.
We test it and the software supports FM mode, but it is not "official".

You will need to update the firmware of your controller to be at least 20200520 (think that's the format used) otherwise it will not work as intended.

Hi,

We already have that update.
The issue is when the mmdvmhost that runs pi-star is will support FM mode.

Thanks!

Is that the status on the MMDVM development site? If so, I'm pretty certain Pi-Star won't include it until it does go "official".

The back end is already done. But currently none of the config page entries have been built.

0K Andrew but ...
When do you think that configuration will be ready so that the FM mode is another available mode?
And on the other hand ...

Does Pis-tar use a specially dedicated compiled MMDVMHost? So if it were ... could you please update the MMDVMHost in order to be able to take advantage of all its strengths?

Thanks

The mmdvmhost that supports fm is already in the latest pistar releases. You'll need to update the firmware in ur repeater board thats as long as it supports FM. You could get going now if you wanted by copying the FM config manually editing mmdvmhost.ini

[FM]
Enable=1
# Callsign=
CallsignSpeed=20
CallsignFrequency=1000
CallsignTime=10
CallsignHoldoff=0
CallsignHighLevel=50
CallsignLowLevel=20
CallsignAtStart=1
CallsignAtEnd=1
CallsignAtLatch=0
RFAck=K
ExtAck=N

AckMinTime=4
AckDelay=1000
AckLevel=50
# Timeout=180

CTCSSFrequency=88.4
CTCSSThreshold=30
CTCSSLevel=20
HangTime=7
UseCOS=1
COSInvert=0
RFAudioBoost=1
MaxDevLevel=90
ExtAudioBoost=1

Good morning,

Thanks Andrew, I'm afraid your version of the MMDVMHost doesn't accept the KerchunkTX = 1 command.
As if it appears in:

Thanks
