Overmodulated announcement on TG6 (XLX)...

Folks,

My Jumbospot running pi-star (same with versions 3.x, 4.0 and now 4.1.2) gives an announcement when connected to an XLX reflector. This says "Connected to XLX353E" in my case.

The announcement is overmodulated and sounds quite distorted and is much louder than either traffic on the reflector or other channels.

Any idea how this can be adjusted, if indeed it can? I have no idea whether the announcement comes from the pi-star software or from elsewhere. It is the same voice that I hear when I am using D-Star so I am supposing that it is the pi-star code.

I should have said that this is a DMR setup which links to the XLX server.
