Installing pi-star as application, under a Pi OS

I have a couple of dedicated pi-star hotspots. But those are dedicated to pi-star use only.

Now, I'd like to build a pi 4B computer running one of the Linux os, using graphical interface. And I'd like to be able to execute a li-star application from the OS, vs. having the 4B be dedicated only to pi-star. All the instructions I have seen are for flashing the program for dedicated use.

How does one build the pi-star program to be run like an application from a Pi OS?
