There is a new ldap library update for RaspiOS that appeared today, so you would be better served to log in via SSH and then run

sudo pistar-update

then

sudo pistar-upgrade

from the command prompt

When you run from a terminal the update command will update the RaspiOS packages too.

I tried sudo-update I see the same errors. I just got another SD card and start fresh, no issue. Maybe bad card, not sure.

When I get more time I will circle back to this card and try it again.

Thanks, Kit

Also check the SD card brand against compatibility. I found one patriot model that will corrupt itself without you knowing it. Found that the hard way.

Ironically, the card in question WAS a Patriot but I just do not know the exact manufacturer part number.
