Cloudflare problems with pistar

Post by N9KO »

I keep getting an error 521 "Web server is down" when I try to access pistar.uk ; pistar.uk/fcsreflectors.php ; and pistar.uk/ysfreflectors.php on two different Windows 10 computers that are both running Firefox and Brave browsers. I can easily connect to the above websites using my Windows 8.1 laptop, so the problems is with Windows 10. I search the web and did not find out how to remove cloudflare from my machines. Any thoughts on getting rid of this annoyance? Also the error 521 page says my browser and Cloudflare are working and the pistar Host has the error.
Thanks

Cloudfare isn't a software application you can "remove" from your computer. Cloudfare is the company that provides the hosting service of the pi-star web server.

It also isn't a Windows 10 vs Windows 8.1 issue, whats probably happening is your Windows 8.1 machine has cached the website data from a recent viewing, and it is displaying that information instead of showing you the failure.

When I checkeed the pages you listed on various machines, Win7, Linux, Win10, I get an error message on all three. The other day another website I was trying to access that uses Cloudfare was showing an error too, so its possible that they have some serious issues going on.

Theres nothing you can do until Cloudfare fixes the issue.
If someones previous actions are any indication of their future actions, then I predict the deletion and removal of access will happen at any moment. 7-11-2020.

Try
https://www.pistar.uk/ysf_reflectors.php
and
https://www.pistar.uk/fcs_reflectors.php

It seems when you try the old http:// it fails.

It should be getting redirected.

According to this https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/pistar.uk.html it can't connect either. Says it's down for everyone.
