I have a Pi3 B+ MMDVD Pi-star running V4.1.4 with the Nextion screen. It was purchased from www.blue-stack.co.uk over a year ago.
It's been brilliant until recently.
I have noticed problems with network connectivity, especially over WiFi but also over the lan with the ethernet cable.
Difficulties connecting to the local network and then establishing d-star. Dropouts.
Then, yesterday it won't complete it's boot sequence. It gets as far as "connecting to network" then hangs.
I bought a new sd card and burnt a fresh image with 4.1.4. This did not help.
Please help!
Regards
Mike

Pi3 B+ MMDVD Pi-star - network issues and hangs on booting now
Re: Pi3 B+ MMDVD Pi-star - network issues and hangs on booting now
Given your description -- I'd suspect the problem is outside... In your router or its connection to the WAN; possibly firewall (in router). WiFi and Ethernet are separate hardware so having both go bad is rather unlikely -- especially as the 3B+ Ethernet still goes through the USB subsystem (I think the 4 has true Ethernet).
