Hey everyone,
I ran "sudo pistar-update" the other day and since then, my Pi-Star has been acting a little bit weird (details about to follow). Let's start off with the basic, I'm running a MMDVM hat (Amazon/Ebay - Detected MMDVM_HS (GPIO): /dev/ttyAMA0 (MMDVM_HS_Hat-v1.5.2 20201108 14.7456MHz ADF7021 FW by CA6JAU GitID #89daa20FF4806715748756687042812)) on a Rasbperry Pi 3B. It's been working flawlessly for YSF up until the update (Pi-Star 4.1.4/Dashboard 20210617). Since the update, I'm getting "YSF Network Not Linked" and haven't been able to send or receive since then. I've tried changing rooms via the "Admin" link in the Dashboard, and I used to get "Connected" announced on my radio (Yaesu FTM-4250DR) but now it's not and I can't seem to trigger the hotspot. I decided to try building a new SD card from scratch and configure it for YSF, but I'm receiving the same results.
Now today, (I feel like I'm getting some sort of results), I'm able to transmit to DG-ID 0, but a higher BER than I used to get, but still can't transmit/receive on my radio. I went to the logs and found the following (FYI, this is happening to both the old config where I ran the update and the new, built from scratch SD card).
M: 2021-06-18 07:01:17.531 MMDVMHost-20210617_PS4 is running
M: 2021-06-18 13:55:44.055 YSF, received RF late entry from KA2HBO to DG-ID 0
M: 2021-06-18 13:55:46.327 YSF, transmission lost from KA2HBO to ALL , 2.4 seconds, BER: 2.7%, RSSI: -47/-47/-47 dBm
Anyone have any ideas what's going on? I don't want to upgrade my other hotspot (running DMR) in case the issue happens there as well. I have logs and log all my SSH sessions (IT guy here), so feel free to ask questions if you need anything else. Thanks hive mind!!

Always try to learn something new - life is big enough where you should be able too!
Re: Pi-Star Issues Since Update
The "late entry" above, means what it sounds like, the modem caught the transmission, but missed the start of it for some reason.
I'd suggest you tune the RX Offset some more, see if you can get that BER rate down as low as you can, I'd also suggest you see if there is newer firmware for the modem/hat you are using.
