I have to reimage my SD card after unplugging

Post by Ke0pbr »

Hello,

Thanks for letting me join, so far it looks like a pretty cool community.

Here is my issue. When I'm not using my ZumSpot / Pi-Star, I unplug the USB cable.

When I go to start it back up it will not connect to the Bandmaster network (I haven't tried others). I then take a working image and reimage my SD card, and it work. I use the same image each time.

BTW: This is for DMR only, my YSF to the same talkgroups still works.

Questions:
Anyone have this experience and what did you do to fix it.
Is there a different way I should be shutting it down or powering it off?

I implemented the shutdown command in the codeplug, and use that before unplugging the power from the hotspot. See my writeup https://w2xq.com/bm-ar-pistar.html#remote on my website. HTH.
