Hi gang. I'm new to this whole hotspot thing, and not the sharpest computer tool in the shack, so...I'm using a Jumbo spot on a Pi Zero W....
1) can the Pi0W be connected to my internet modem/router via its USB port (hard-wired)?

2) Both the Jumbo and the Pi have WiFi antennas. Which one is being used?

3) The problem child: my setup was working. Decided to install the OLED. I think this was one where the vcc and the grnd was reversed- the screen didn't work and got HOT. Removed it and the spot worked for a while, but now when powerd up both the green power LED and the red SVC LED are dim, and the SVC LED never goes from show flash to rapid flash. Pushed the reset button, mounted on another Pi3, no change. Any ideas? Thanks, 73, Aloha, Steve WH6ST

You can connect hardwired via USB to your router using an ethernet dongle: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1x-Micro-USB-2 ... 1438.l2649

WiFi is via the board edge antenna on the Pi ZeroW, the HAT has the antenna for the amateur frequency, probably 430-460MHz.
