How is legal ID implemented on HS Hats running MMDVM?
I do hear legal ID after an appropriate interval where no incoming voice data is being handled by PiStar.
Even with a shorter setting, the ID isn't necessarily being emitted according to FCC requirements.
They require that the ID be transmitted in analog mores during the first transmission from the device, and within every 10 minutes that the device is subsequently transmitting.
What's the strategy?

Digital assetts don't have any legal requirement to periodically id here in the UK. So I've never used it, but.
Afaik If there's tx traffic at the time of the Id, the I'd will not go out. If you have a 10min id timer set you'll need 0 traffic holding the tx for it to go out, as the hotspot can't do simultaneous fm(ID) and digital transmission(net traffic)
