STM32-DVM V3: No firmware flash possible

Post by DG0OFZ »

Hi,

some days ago I'd liked to upgrade the firmware of my STM32-DVM V3 board.
But all I've seen is

Code: Select all

Using Parser : Raw BINARY
Interface serial_posix: 57600 8E1
Unknown/unsupported device (Device ID: 0x421)
This output seems to come from stm32flash, which is installed in version 0.4.
Does this binary comes with the pistar image or was it installed later by any software installed by me? I can't remember...

The solution was to update stm32flash to version 0.5, which can flash the STM32F446 chip on the V3 board.

So my question is:
If the stm32flash program was delivered within the pistar image, is it possible to deliver stm32flash 0.5 with one of the next images?

My source for the working version of stm32flash was https://sourceforge.net/p/stm32flash/co ... ster/tree/
