Problems linking reflector on jumbo spot from ID-51

Post by WD4IOI »

I just bought a jumbo-spot and have set it up on wifi successfully.

When use the web interface, I can link to a reflector and hear QSOs on my ID-51a fine.

My problem is that I cannot seem to link to reflectors (or other commands) from the ID-51.

I don't see any local activity on the dashboard.

I tried (briefly) adjusting the RX offset in the expert settings, but no luck so far.

FWIW, I have a DVMEGA and DVAP Dongle that I was able to link using the ID-51 fine.

Any suggestions or advice?

Thanks in advance,

I realize you posted some time ago but I just saw this post. I have a Kenwood TH 74 and am using a jumbo hotspot but I thought this might be interesting to you . I could not link to some DSTAR reflectors . I had set up ref001c as my default reflector which is like a talkgroup on DMR . After a month of trying to get the hotspot to work I changed reflectors and it works . When I try to link to ref001c it unlinks . So maybe try different talkgroups and see what happens .
