My DV-Mega has ver. 3.07 HW
Pi-Star has ver. 3.4.11 / Dashboard 20180523

I have used the DV-Mega wired and wireless and it goes into Verbal/Vocal " user blocked " very intermittently .

It doesnt seem to matter what TG I am on, or which BrandMeister Server I am using .

I have tried it on another Ras-Pi .
I have purchased a new SD Card and burned a new image to it, and it still goes into " user blocked " error .

I have XFINITY / COMCAST internet at 75mbs Down / 10mbs Up.


I am also running a PFSense Firewall

Has anyone else encountered the " user block " message?

That a BrandMeister issue and has nothing to do with Pi-Star. Pi-Star is just the gateway to the network

Are you running more than one hotspot/repeater on the same Network. are you using static IP for the units. If you are then you should not assign ports to these IP address best to use DHCP

You will also need to upgrade the Firmware version on your DVMega and Pi Star OS. Keep them up to date.

I have set up my MMDVM to transmit and receive on DMRr how ever I can only receive on D Star it will not activate hotspot as it does on the Shark Rf,
I am only running the same frequency as normal and have not done any changes to the Icom 51 e +2.

I had the same thing in the beginning. Have look into the Brandmeister Dashboard -> Selfcare
After I switched off AirSecurity / TOTP there it worked for me...
