New pi-star on dvmega with nextion can't hear QSO's

Post by M6OLP »

Hi can anybody please suggest why I can get an Echotest fine and when i key up the TG announcement comes back but can't hear any of the users I see on the screen as transmitting?. This is a new hotspot and the config is correct as checked by the supplier of the DVMega. I suspect my codeplug but tried various methods of adding the DVMega with no luck
Im can't use the radio over a local repeater as it is down for a few months to be relocated
TIA Keith

Depends entirely on what/where you are trying.

If you are using DMR, you need to have the TG you want to use in your RX list, the TG number / colour code etc need to match up or the radio will ignore it.

If you are using reflectors - make sure you have TG9 in the RX list, for dynamic TGs, the ones you use need to be in the RX list.

There's a helpful site about DMR, including info about radio programming, that you might want to check out:

Good luck!
