MMDVM-Teensy not decoding from DR-1X

Post by kd7dk »

I recently purchased the MMDVM-Teensy with a cable for a DR-1X to create a DMR repeater configuration. I got it connected this past week and the transmit side works great as tested with MMDVMCal and a spectrum analyzer. On receive, I get no indication that its decoding anything. I have used an oscilloscope to confirm that I am getting clean receive audio at the RX Audio and ADC test points. Audio level measures about 2.4v peak to peak centered on 2.8v. Signal looks clean. This signal is from a HP8920B with a deviation of 2.7KHz.

Any tips on debugging this? I would love to get some more diagnostics out of the Arduino.

Resolved. A quick reply from Mark at Micro-Node indicated that you need to set both RX and TX invert in the MMDVMHost configuration. Once I did that it worked first time. Also minor correction, my input signal is 2.4v p-p centered on 1.6v as measured at the ADC testpoint.
