RB STM32-DVM = Pi Hat vs USB

Hi all,
I am thinking of trialing on of these STM32 Boards v3 (Blue), but trying to decide which one may be best suitable.
Can anyone advise or confirm if the RB STM32-DVM v3 USB Board will still work if I use it as a Pi Hat for a Pi3? I understand the reverse may not be possible (not USB version). I would like the option to use as a Pi Hat on a Pi or via USB on other installs down the track if I decide to move away from the Pi platform.
Can anyone confirm if the Pi Hat or USB version is expected to fit onto the Pi4 (just announced) via the GPIO Pins?
