is it possible to save 2 different wifi network settings for home and mobile use?

Yes. It will switch to the available network as needed.

I have had no luck saving 2 wifi networks in the pi-star software. I am using Pi Zero W Rev 1.1 (512MB) Pi Zero W Rev 1.1 (512MB) (DV-Mega Minimum Firmware 3.07 Required)

Click the configuration page, scroll down to the wifi at the bottom and click configure wifi. You can add as many as you want.
