Can the network link between my laptop and the MMDVM be made to use secure HTTPS instead of just HTTP? I get nervous setting the wifi network name and password over a non-secure link. Thanks. 73 AC8SW

This certainly would be a welcome feature. It has been discussed before, and it seems like it may come sometime in version 4.x:

Thanks for the reply. Not surprised this subject has been discussed before. There are just too many bad people lurking out there to be running clear text. HTTPS would be a valuable addition to a great body of work by the Jonathan Naylor and the MMDVM team. 73. AC8SW

It's a bit more complicated than one would expect, but instructions are given in
nginx SSL. Of course one would need a custom firewall rule to open input tcp port 443 as well.
