Programming issue with Raspberry Pie
Programming issue with Raspberry Pie
My issue concerns the Pi-Star setup for my Raspberry Pie. I am getting the error, "Interface status: Interface is down." Is anyone familiar with this issue and can help.
Re: Programming issue with Raspberry Pie
If I unplug the Ethernet cable from the the Raspberry Pi, the PI-Star software no longer sees it. If the cable is plugged in, the software sees it but, I get the WiFi error message. I should mention the unit worked for a few months in the WiFi mode.
Thanks,

Re: Programming issue with Raspberry Pie
Have you used a computer with WiFi to search for the Pi-Star /set-up/ Access Point.
If the Pi-Star is unable to connect to a WiFi router (router is access point to get to network), it will create itself as an access point with a special name -- this access point will not have network connectivity, it is only so you can connect and set the configuration for the real router access point.
