I am running version 3.4.16. All is good in the video by W1MSG until I get to wireless setup. No wireless setup in the configuration page of that version.

Any help will be most appreciated.

Are you saying that you were able to log in to Pi-Star and navigate to the Configuration page, but that you don't find the Wireless Configuration module on that page? I guess if I ran into that, I'd burn a fresh image and start over.

Can you take a look at the 4) Booting up Pi-Star section of the Playing with Pi-Star article and share exactly where in that process you get stuck?

Yes, no configuration module on the configuration page. Will try burning another image.

Thanks

I burned another image. I still can't access the configuration module. AP is not working nor can I find any other means to get the wireless working. I tried dropping a supplicant file into root. That didn't work either. Is anyone else running this version have the same proble?

I'm on a RPi 2 B. Not a Chinese but a real RPi.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I just had a light bulb go off. The RPi doesn’t have wireless like the 3+ does it...Been so used to the 3+ I forgot that.

Will investigate further...

Problem Solved. I had forgot that the RPi didn't have built-in wi-fi like the 3+

I found an unused wi-fi dongle this morning and plugged it in. It works just like it is supposed to now.
