Ive registered with DAPNET and received a Ric code (i think) and ive changed the POCSAG details in the configuration to my details but left the frequency the same....so what happens now? i’m using a jumbospot on 70cms should it be a dualband maybe?

Anybody have any luck yet?
Re: Anybody have any luck yet?
The RIC code is for your pager, you need to register for a transmitter to get the details to connect your pi-star to the DAPNET.
Re: Anybody have any luck yet?
Hi when you say register for a txmitter do you mean the hotspot details or do i have to purchase a board for raspi etc (excuse my ignorance)

Re: Anybody have any luck yet?
The hotspot details. Mine is registered as having 1 watt at 2 meters height, and as a “personal”, rather than a wide-area transmitter. I used the same lat/long coordinates that are on my Pi-Star config page.
I want to learn how to send and receive messages using my DMR transceiver and MMDVM hs_hat, if that’s even possible. Buying a pager to use the system is not going to happen. Perhaps I was naive to think DAPnet would work with my equipment.
