No Transmitting (solved)

Post by DO1YHJ » Mon Sep 03, 2018 1:07 pm

Hello,
my Hardware is a Pi 2B with a mmdvm-hs-hat. This one:
https://shop.funk24.net/raspberry-pi-co ... er=SW11054

Software and Firmware is on latest Version. I got AuthKey, RIC, Web Access from Dapnet and my Transmitter is shown Online. Pi-Star is Setup as shown in the Dapnet Wiki and as shown here. Only Pocag is activated.
But he is not Transmitting. Nothing goes through.
Test Transmitting via Dapnet-Api doesn't work either: sudo pistar-dapnetapi DO1YHJ 'Hello World - this is a test" only shows this > and a prompt. Even with Debug at the end. I had to stop that command with ctrl-c.

"Error returned from sendto, err: 22" goes on in a long list.

My Router is a AVM Fritzbox 7490. I had to set a Port Forwarding (TCP/UDP) from 3800 intern to 4800 extern before the Transmitter was Online on the Dapnet Page. I also tried 3800 to 3800 and 4800 to 4800 and the Pi as Exposed Host. Online Status on Dapnet Page stays on but no transmitting.

Now i'm stuck. I don't know what is going wrong and need some ideas.

Maybe I'm all wet, but those IDs don't seem to match -- is one a typo? Or is that just some rare coincidence that they differ by one digit (and said digit is "round" in both).

Unfortunately, error 22 -- if that is a common C-runtime errno -- is just Invalid Argument to some call (likely the socket sendto() given the text).

I changed it but no success yet.
Hmm, i will do a second installation as a DMR Hotspot to check the Hardware.

It's not the Hardware. It was something in my Configuration. Did a fresh Install with minimum Configuration and now my Hotspot is transmitting.
