Duplex Hat & DMR Gateway Setup Guide

Hi Folks! New poster here, and relatively new Hotspot user. I currently have a Pi 3 running a simplex hat. Just have it on DMR+ (Pheonix) and it is working quite well (apart from when some users don't leave a gap so I can't switch TG - grrr!).
I have now ordered a Duplex hat and another Pi 3 should be arriving over the weekend In preparation, I am wondering if there is a comprehensive setup guide for Duplex hats?
I have multiple radios, so can utilise both timeslots, however my main reason for ordering a duplex hat was to be able to switch TGs during a busy QSO if i so choose.
In terms of radio programming, I prefer setting up individual channels rather than switching contacts on the fly.
Currently on DMR+ I have it set up this way, and I really like the fact they are now mapping TGs directly to reflectors on Pheonix-f
I don't mind introducing extra digits in the programming of the radio. So I would be happy with :
TG 100235 mapping to TG235 on DMR+
TG 200235 mapping to TG235 on BM
TG 300235 mapping to TG235 on TGIF
and whatever would be needed for XLX (I haven't directly used XLX reflectors yet)
Is there a guide that covers such a setup?
How would you manage the timeslots? e.g. can I use this TG mapping on both timeslots? I have noticed some people pipe TGIF onto 1 particular timeslot. I was hoping not to limit it by using the talkgroup rewriting.
All advice welcome as I anticipate and plan for the new gear!
Many thanks,
Rob
