New hotspot with one Parrot issue

Post by k1gar »

I just brought up pistar on a new hotspot with DMR. Most stuff seems to be working fine. My digital APRS is posting well and I have logged contacts with people as far as Cambridge England (I'm in Alabama). I have my BER down to almost nothing and the sound is really clear.

The only issue I am having is that I am yet to get Parrot to work. If I try to use Parrot, most of the time it doesn't even key the hotspot or show up on PiStar gateway activity. A few times it has but Parrot never Parrots. I hear nothing.

Has anybody see this before? I'm sure I have something simple that is set wrong since everything else works fine.

I am trying to hit 9990.

Thanks

I got it. I rewrote the plug and now it works. I don't mind monkeying around if i learn something but in this case I guess I just needed to write it again.

Unless I missed it, which DMR network are you trying to use the Parrot on? Brandmeister and TGIF need it to be setup as a private call. DMR+ is a group call.
