dmr2ysf not working

Post by W1FJM »

I have a dvmega and a TYT MD UV380. I am running pi-star v4.12.
I have setup pi-star to use dmr2ysf master. I am using america ragchew. I can hear people on it but they don't hear me. I am using TG9.

Sometime my hotspot sees me transmit and many times it doesn't. Even when it does, I don't show up on the america ragchew last heard.

What could be wrong?

Set the TG on the radio to the target TG and not TG 9.

Thanks Andy. I have it working that way, but not using dmr2ysf gateway. Using DMRgateway instead

If you are using DMR Gateway with DMR2YSF as Network 3, then you need to use the 70 prefix in the TG number in your radio. For example, if you want to connect to YSF North America (561), use TG 7000561 in your radio, as per the default rewrite rules in he Pi-star configuration.

[DMR Network 3]
Enabled=1
Name=DMR2YSF_Cross-over
Id=yourID01
Address=127.0.0.1
Port=62033
Local=62034
TGRewrite0=2,7000001,2,1,999998
SrcRewrite0=2,1,2,7000001,999998
PCRewrite0=2,7000001,2,1,999998
Password="PASSWORD"
Location=0
Debug=0
