With the dropping of the UK BrandMeister, I have changed the settings to use Ireland and checked the password is set too. I can change static talkgroups through the BM Manager and it is shown on the BM web page for my call, however I don't seem able to put a call out, nor do dynamic talkgroups appear to be set.
Any thoughts?

Re: BrandMeister broken?
https://news.brandmeister.network/uk-ma ... ovisioned/
Seems to suggest that it should reappear by the end of Saturday, but the problem you report is likely to be due to various DNS TTLs expiring and links re-establishing.
In the MMDVM group.io list, Jonathan G4KLX posted a message about moving DMR to a fully open-source network. He says:
"I think that the time has come to look at having an open source, non-centralised, DMR network. A network where no one person or group has control. We already have the beginnings of this with the HBLink and with XLX projects. If more people get involved with these projects then they will grow and offer more features as time goes on."
The page here:
http://www.bm-dmr.uk/dash/index.html
is now blank except for a link to here:
http://monitor.freedmr.uk:8080/
which mentions HBLink and has its logo at the top of the page.
You can make of this what you will. I don't know anything more than has been mentioned here and what I have pieced together from the various facts mentioned above.

Re: BrandMeister broken?
Just to add...
A new host has been found for BM UK the server is now listed in the pistar hosts.
Running an update will see you all back on a UK server.
As to FreeDMR, when the UK team are ready to go we are happy to see their new server added to pistars HB-link listings.

Re: BrandMeister broken?
The problem appears to have "sorted itself". I initially tried a Shark Openspot2 and that didn't work either... I got the Pi-Star/MMDVM working with the server in Ireland and then after the post on here about there being a UK one QRV again, I swapped to that one and it is working fine.
