APRS DMR hotspot locks on DATA TX ON

I have configured a HS_DUAL_HAT as duplex hotsopot with latest Pistar.
Using Motorola portable 3401 with GPS enabled on Brandmeister network.
Everything works fine I can see my position on aprs.fi and APRS packets coming.
If I suddenly turn off the portable ... then hotspot enters DATA TX state for a VERY long time (it stops only when other DMR activity detected ...)
(maybe loop waiting for a DATA ACK from the handie ?)
Is there a timeout parameter to set for this to stop ?
