No dmr audio

Post by K2CQW »

My Paul's AT878 is connected to my Pi-star hotspot. I see activity on the dasboard but no sound at all. YSF has been working fine.

Yes, that TG 9 was a YSF2DMR contact. Yes I know dmr and ysf are different. Your comment about my last connection shows me the hotspot connected to TG 31656, but the AT868 is not. I believe the hotspot is configured correctly but the radio is missing some magic dmr setting. Thanks for guidance & 73

In that case you need to change the channel on your radio to one designated for 91.
It is possible to set up a receive group list and assign the list to each configured channel. That allows one to hear traffic on any talk group in the list, though one has to change to a channel dedicated to the active group to respond (untested, but I believe some radios have the ability to reply to the active group so long as the display has not timed out).

We already announced this. Or at least i think we announced it...

BM USA asked us to aid them in moving users off of 3101 by removing it as an option in PS.
3104 was added as a replacement server.

i used that post here with a simple copy paste over to the FB page to aid me, due to other work commitments at the time.

I received the programming cable yesterday and was able to tweak the codeplug, change my America Link contact to group call and reset the DMR ID to my friend's number. Now I can hear and transmit. Thanks for all the excellent advice. 73
