AGAIN, what VERSION of the MMDVM firmware are you running??

I am presently away from my home till Wednesday next week.

I think that I am running with FW 1.5.1b on both

It could be the RPi can't handle serial speeds higher than 115200 baud. I don't know which version of firmware you are on and if you are using the latest which increases the speed 4 times to 460800.

I would try to either build a custom firmware with the speeds set to 115200, or install an older pre compiled version.

Thank you for this information. I guess I should downgrade from 1.5.1b to 1.4.17?

Kindly confirm if the downgrade command for a jumbospot mmdvm simplex hat with a TCXO of 14.** Mhz is;

sudo pistar-mmdvmhshatdowngrade hs_hat ??
