Folks,
I am trying to figure out how to set up and MMDVM board to do a DMO TDMA repeater. These devices are used in the commercial world to extend the reach of handhelds and provide extended coverage where a full sized duplex repeater is not needed. They are a simplex device frequency wise.
The device will receive on one TS and retransmit on the other TS. Say for example I have on setup as follows
DMO is on 441.00 Mhz, receives on TS1 and retransmits on TS2.
User gear is on 441.00 Mhz, receives on TS2 and transmits on TS1
Some radios may not be able to do this but so far what I see it appears that there are settings in the CPS that will allow it one way or another. I plan to try it out, but I need to figure out how to set up an MMDVM board to do it. If there are ideas I am all ears.
