Change DMR TG with Web Interface?

Post by N3KDJ »

I'm wondering if I can change TG using the browser interface to the Pi-Star? I know I can do so from the radio, and my code plugs work fine that way. But when there's no dead air and the operators in QSO leave almost no time between transmissions, it'd be handy to be able to bail from 310 and QSY to another TG. I used to do that on an OpenSpot.
BTW hotspot in question here is a Commander Spot from Nex Gen, Pi-Star based. Have a Nano-Spot also and same would be handy there too.
Thanks!

If network is Brandmeister, get a Brandmeister API Key, load into your COmmander (if it runs Pi-Star) and after that you will have a few more options on the Admin page for you to Drop all QSOs so you can TRY to get out of 310.

Very helpful reply....I made a new BM API key and pasted it into the Config > Expert > BM API area and did a Power > Reboot and boom, I get "Drop QSO" and "Drop All Dynamic" in the Admin portion of Pi-Star. Excellent. :D

Question, where or how do I go about acquiring an API key to use on Pi-star

Read this article from Brandmeister itself. Has all you need to know. If you don't already have a BM account (I used my Call Sign) you need to do that first.
