Had a Yaesu FT-70D for a few years and now that I have a hotspot I would not mind joining in the chats on the YSF rooms.
The hotspot is function is working. The radio operates. The Yaesu radio seems to be not wanting to make to connect via WiresX or produce audio so I can listen to the conversations on YSF.
So anyone know what is wrong? Firmware update or wrong codec?

Radio must be in DN mode. Wide won't work with YSF reflectors.

Wide does very much work with YSF reflectors. The only thing that doesn't happen with wide is you won't be heard by DMR or NXDN users on multimode reflector setups. but wide will transverse a YSF reflector and be heard by other wide users.K2IE wrote:Radio must be in DN mode.
