No sound on FTM-3200D
I purchased my first Pi-star hotspot. I have it all configured and applied the latest updates. I am running Pi-Star:4.1.4 and Dashboard:20210209. I am connected to America Link FCS00290. I see traffic on the Dashboard and Live Logs look good (no errors). I have the frequency set to 144.500 and my FTM-3200D set to the same. Yet, I don't hear any transmissions and when keying my mic I don't see any local RF activity. Thus, it seems there is no communication between the hotspot and my radio. I am using the default TX/RX Offsets of 0. Any suggestions?
Re: No sound on FTM-3200D
Do offsets and timeslots even apply given I am in Simplex Mode and YFS Mode (i.e. no DMR)?
Re: No sound on FTM-3200D
I did test using MMDVMCAL.
BER Test Mode (FEC) for YSF
TX Level: 50%, Frequency Offset: 0, RF Level 100%
So I assume that is good and no changes in configuration are needed.

Hmmm, ok. Maybe I'm not using mmdvmcal correctly.
- log in via SSH and run 'sudo pistar-mmdvmcal'
- enter 'E' and set frequency to 144500000 as is my radio
- enter 'J' to enter test mode for YSF
- enter 'W' to enable modem debug messages
- display shows a number of DEBUG lines including
- TX freq 433000012
- RX freq 433000000
- I key up mic and see nothing on the screen
- enter 'q' to quit and then I see that TX level message I posted earlier
My radio is a 2m radio. So not sure if this mmdvmcal test mode showing a UHF frequency will work. My radio works fine for both analog and digital transmissions. I just can't get it to work with this hotspot.

Re: No sound on FTM-3200D
Well, the mystery is partially solved. I was able to use my configured SD card in my friend's hotspot and that worked just fine. So I know my radio works and my SD card is configured correctly.
So I will have to go back to the seller and work this out. Thanks for the feedback!
